Angkor Wat is an architectural masterpiece and the largest religious monuments in the world – covering an area four times the size of Vatican City. It was built by the Khmer King Suryavarman II in the first half of the 12th century, around the year 1110-1150, making Angkor Wat almost more than 900 years old.

The Baphuon is a temple at Angkor, Cambodia. It is located in Angkor Thom, northwest of the Bayon. Also called "golden mountain", the Baphuon is built on an artificial hill. Built in the mid-11th century, it is a three-tiered built as the state temple of Suryavarman I dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva.Surrounded by a wall125 by 425 m the central tower was probably gilded wood, which has not survived.
The Terrace of the Elephants is part of the walled city of Angkor Thom, a ruined temple complex in Cambodia. The terrace was used by Angkor's king Jayavarman VII as a platform from which to view his victorious returning army. The 350m-long Terrace of Elephants was used as a giant reviewing stand for public ceremonies and served as a base for the king's grand audience hall. It has five outworks extending towards the Central Square-three in the center and one at each end.
The Phimeanakas is in AngkorThom area, Cambodia, is a Hindu temple in the Khleang style, built at the end of the 10th century, during the reign of Rajendravarman (from 941 to 968), then completed by Suryavarman in the shape of a three tiers pyramid as a Hindu temple. Ta Keo was the state temple of Jayavarman V, son of Rajendravarman, who had built Pre Rup.It has five sanctuary towers arranged in a quincunx, built on the uppermost level of five-tiers pyramid consisting of overlapping terraces, surrounded by moats, as a symbolic depiction of Mount Meru. The outer banks of the surrounding moats, now vanished, measured 255 m by 195 m. The first terrace is 122 m by 106 m. Its wall of sandstone on laterite basis constitutes the outer enclosure. he second terrace is 5.5 m higher. Each of the first two terraces has a gopura at the four cardinal points
Ta Prohm is the modern name of a temple near the city of Siem Reap, Cambodia, approximately four kilometre east of Angkor Thom and on the southern edge of the East Baray. It was built in the Bayon style largely in the late 12th century and early 13th century and was originally called Rajavihara. The temple is referred to as the "Tomb Raider Temple" or the "Angelina Jolie Temple" due to its depiction in the film Lara Croft: Tomb Raider (2001). The temple was built without mortar and, after it was abandoned, trees took root in the loosened stones.The trees growing out of the ruins and the jungle surroundings have made it one of the most popular temples with visitors to the area. Banteay Kdei is meaning "A Citadel of Chambers",also known as "Citadel of Monks' cells",is a Buddhist temple in Angkor, Cambodia.It is reported to be the first temple built by Jayavarman VII in 1181 AD, opposite to the Srah Srang reservoir. In the 13th century, most of the temples built by Jayavarman were vandalised. However, some of the Mahayana Buddhist frontons and lintels are still seen in good condition. Built in the mid-12th to early 13th centuries AD during the reign of Jayavarman VII.
Sras Srang was dug in the mid-10th century, by initiative of Kavindrarimathana, Buddhist minister of Rajendravarman II. t present Srah Srang measures 700 by 350 m and is still partially flooded. As other barays, maybe there was a temple standing on an artificial island in the middle of it. he landing-stage, opposite the entrance to Banteay Kdei, is a popular site for viewing the sunrise.
Banteay Srei is a 10th-century Hindu temple in Siem Reap, Cambodia dedicated to Shiva and Parvati. Banteay Srei is built largely of red sandstone, a medium that lends itself to the elaborate decorative wall carvings. Bantãy Srĕi" ("Citadel of Women") is the modern name of a 10th-century Khmer temple originally called "Tribhuvanamaheśvara" ("Great Lord of the Threefold World"), an appellation of the god Shiva. Banteay Srei is built largely of a hard red sandstone that can be carved like wood.
